Hi,
my universal remote "rmcspk1ap1" has recently stopped working in the voice control.
no matter what you command it instantly comes up with "I did not recognise what you said".
everything else with the remote works fine, I have replaced the batteries etc but still no luck
any help appreciated

I am having the same problem, after day 4 with the TV. It will not change channnels or do most of the commands. This is incredibly disappointing as this was one of the features that drew me to this particular TV. I guess I will look in to returning the tv.

My remote is acting the same, except I found a very inconvenient solution. When I switch from my Dish Network to an app on the TV, and then switch back to Dish, the voice command stops working. I have to unplug the TV, wait 10 seconds, and plug it back in EVERY TIME we make that switch. This is SOOOO disappointing. I really love the voice command when it works, but I have to crawl behind our entertainment center every time we want to watch Netflix or Amazon Video. Any remedies for this?

I'm having the same problem, except my smart remote has never worked.It only turns the tv on and off. I'm currently waiting for another replacement remote which seems to be the only solution Samsung can come up with.At this rate I'll have more remotes than hot dinners. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Smart remote control has stopped working, I have taken out batteries, also turned off the tv but neither have helped.

I purchased tv model UA65MU61OOWXXY 4/02/18 and the smart remote no longer works. Comes up with messages saying it has to many things to attend to at this time try again later

We had the same problem. Trying unplugging the television for five minuets, this worked for us.

Hi @paulamy1211, perhaps issue resolved but for anyone with issues general guidance is on page 4/5 of this thread https://https://eu.community.samsung.com/t5/TV-Audio-Video/Smart-remote-voice-control-not-working/td... Basically you should ensure you have latest update, try unplugging, removing batteries and resets. Your internet connection needs to be reliable and sometimes there may be issues with server.
Paul with your mention of Dish satellite it would seem you are in US and if so any unresolved issues should be directed to US support and they have their own community. https://www.samsung.com/us/support/ https://us.community.samsung.com/ However, I am sure everyone is welcome here.

Following these instructions worked. Note that the reset option is found below:
5. The option is TV menu > Support > Self Diagnosis > Reset
Additionally I had to manually update the TV using the link here: http://www.samsung.com/uk/support/model/UE40MU6100KXXU#downloads
Furthermore the telephone support team were NOT aware of this.

Had this problem tonight. Voice wouldn’t work. Tried my sat remote and that wouldn’t work either. Weird. So I unplugged the HDMI connection from my sat to my tv plugged it back in and boom it worked. All this after spending 30 min on the phone with Samsung resetting this resetting that
