Smart remote voice control not working

Hi, 

my universal remote "rmcspk1ap1" has recently stopped working in the voice control.

no matter what you command it instantly comes up with "I did not recognise what you said".

everything else with the remote works fine, I have replaced the batteries etc but still no luck 

any help appreciated

We are having the same issue. Just started after 2 months.  Is there a solution?

I was told reset tv

reboot router

i requested new remote, also upgraded firmware

tyis didn’t work so I requested a new tv. All is good now

Try disconnecting the tV at the mains plug. In addition re-boot your router and any extenders devices. This instantly cured the problem. (An observation - seems to have started after purchasing Google assistant. )

I've had this issue and fixed it last today.. go to settings voice control change the language from UK English to US English.

works perfect now.

My 55KS9000 doesn't have UK english. I've tried everything including rebooting.

My UN40HU6950FXZA suddenly failed to recognize "channel 2" or "channel 5" remote control voice commands.

My hack is to say "channel 02"  or "channel 2 point one" and it recognizes the command. 

Works normal for "channel 7" - go figure!

Will reset the TV when I get time to see if that clears up the problem.
