Just ordered the latest SkyQ box with HDR but now suspect my TV might not support HLG! Can anyone confirm or advise if it can be upgraded. Thanks

Hi @SA1707  unfortunately HLG  via HDMI  would not be supported on your model which is a 2015 set,  support for 2016 sets was added via firmware last year but I believe there is a hardware limitation for earlier models.  A post from Moderator @AntS  confirming situation for 2015/2016 sets on this thread  https://eu.community.samsung.com/t5/tv/iplayer-hlg-uhd-hdr-on-samsung-s-j-and-k-series-tvs/td-p/3390...

"For JS Series TV's, I can confirm:

“Samsung’s 2015 SUHD TV’s cannot support HLG.”

Some background on HLG from this site https://www.digitaltrends.com/home-theater/what-is-hlg-hdr/

At the moment though HDR content on SkyQ is still a bit limited, though  more  should   come at end of the year.  https://www.whathifi.com/advice/how-to-watch-hdr-on-sky-q

I do not work for Samsung or make Samsung Products but provide independent advice and valuable contributions.
