Settings for Samsung QE55QN94AATXXU

Hi, I have just purchased  the Samsung QE55QN94AATXXU and would appreciate if anyone could share the settings they have used. Also would anyone in the forum recommend an HDMI cable for this TV. There are so many to choose from and I want to maximise the best picture the TV can offer.

Ive found the Ibra 2.1 hdmi good although its not certified 2.1 all the research i did it kept coming up in the top 5.

Hi @agh551  You could look at this article for general advice https://www.flatpanelshd.com/review.php?subaction=showfull&id=1623645585     I do not have  one of the latest models but I think Standard and movie modes produce the most accurate picture for Tv viewing.  There is a filmmaker mode on this one but seems similar to movie . Auto Motion plus   tends to best at  low or switched off for most content other than sport.   

However some experimentation may be requited to suit your own preferences and tweaked for different content.

Hi James thanks for your very comprehensive reply, both articles were very interesting to read. I never thought there so much to HDMI cables, I have always had a couple "lying" around the house and would use when required.  Ordered the Ibra from Amazon.

The writeup on the QN95A is also interesting, not sure if there is much difference from the 94A. I know it has the connect box but the additional £100 was just outside my budget. I will look in more depth the various settings in picture modes to see which one suits my viewing,
