I have a Crystal series TU70000 Sumsung Smart TV (brand new) and a Galaxy S8+ (not new). When I select Tap View by tapping my phone on my TV, it prompts the mirroring process but the screen goes black. If I play a video on my phone, only the sound plays on the TV...no video. Is the issue with my phone or my TV? All software is up to date on both. Connecting via Wi-Fi and Smart Things/View app.

I don't understand what you are saying at all. Download or enable smart view for Samsung?? On what? The tv? The phone? I also don't have anything on my Samsung tv that says connection guide.

Did you find any solution? I have only audio without video too.
Same 2.4 wi-fi and everyrhing updated. AirPlay. YouTube is working but mkv-s does not.

Use "screencast" from your drop-down menu on the phone. Then select the device that's connected to your internet. IE: Samsung TV or Chromecast. Do not use "Bluetooth" connection because that's audio only.

simialar probllem with roku, get sound, picture starts, then switches to lock screen, no icons or virw of whats on phone screen, all equipment is rubbing mist uptodate sodtware versions.
