I believe this is a common problem but I haven't been able to resolve this. My film mode is always greyed out. My connection is HDMI from my Virgin box, and I've changed the video output settings on that box to what I've read I should, however it's still greyed out. Obviously, it's a pretty vital part of the picture set up so I need it resolved. The TV was purchase a few days ago and so I assume has the latest update as it was only recently all set up. Thanks.
