Samsung UE55MU7000 arc no sound

Hello,

I have a Samsung UE55MU7000 tv in combination with a Sony HT-RT3 soundbar.

I have them both for about a year now. Until now i exclusively used the optical cable, but due to circomstances i now also want to use headphones. So my thinking was to put the headphones on the optical out, and connect my soundbar using arc. Using a new hdmi 2.0 cable (also tried another cable), i connected everything, set all the right settings on my soundbar and my tv. But i can't get any sound.

The sound output is set to HDMI, I use the youtube app to test, and pcm as sound output (also tested with dolby digital). Anynet+ is also turned on.

Whe i use the volume button on my remote, my sound system acknowledges the volume change, so the connection seems fine.

Anyone any ideas of things i could be forgetting?

@xelaim: Looking at your setup it may be more beneficial to connect a Bluetooth Headset to the TV and select them as the output source as and when you need to: Settings > Sound > Sound Output > Bluetooth Speaker List.
