Samsung UE55HU7500T picture problem

Hello all, we recently got given a Samsung UE55HU7500T led 55" TV from a friend which had no picture showing. The sound was working and the back-lights were ok too just no picture.  After some googling and youtubing we came to the conclusion it was the t-con board causing the problem so we bought a supposed good working one from ebay. After fitting it we did get a picture but weirdly it now has two pictures top and bottom. For example when you switch the TV on it should say "SMART" in the middle but now it says "SMART" at the top and "SMART" at the bottom. This happens all the time, press the menu button and two menus appear. Its not a ghosting image just the same image top and bottom almost like a split screen but not. Any ideas anyone or is it the dreaded led screen that is gone, cheers Dean

iv searched lots of times on YouTube but there's nothing similar to our problem, just lots of videos about ghosting image or lines across the screen

 This is what we are getting, tried cleaning all the cables inside and can't see anything burnt or broken on the boards, the power supply seems to good, tested with multimeter.  Any ideas a

Try disabling any 3D features on the TV, including using 2D alternatives to 3D enabled devices, such as cable boxes and Blu-Ray players.
