Just set up new Samsung UE50TU8500. Works fine until I switch on Sony RDR HXD 870 DVD Recorder (SD). The TV loses signal to HD channels - restored when recorder is switched off. SD channels still work.
Tried by-passing the recorder by connecting co-axial cable direct to TV, but did not solve the problem.
Recorder plays SD channels and recorded material OK. Tested the HDMI cable as per TV diagnostics but no problems detected. Any suggestions appreciated.
