samsung ue40nu7122k subtitles not working

Hello, I have a samsung ue40nu7122k tele but the subtitles do not work or show at all. I have tried different settings but no joy. I am trying to add English subtitles from Greek tele.

If they don't work on live TV there may not be any for that program. If you are referring to anything else, we need more information.

I am trying to get subtitles on all live tele channels. 

I use an Amazon Fire stick that uses English language but I would like English subtitles for the basic Greek tele channels if possible.

As I explained this will depend if s/ts are broadcast. What I do know though as I have a Kodi Box is that you need to change settings on your Firestick as this is the source of the data stream. I know nothing much about Firestick so you will need to Google it.
