A thin yellow line appeared on the left side of the screen some time ago. I checked all the ribbon cables etc and of course tried all the steps to reset picture and the TV to factory settings and everything else mentioned on various forums etc but it wouldn't go away. I eventually gave up as it turns out that it is probably the fault in one of the connections that are glued directly to the screen (apparently a common problem with Samsung displays). However yesterday it started to randomly flicker and eventually disappeared. Unfortunately this morning when I turned the TV on, it re-appeared after a few minutes. Only thing I can think of is that yesterday the TV had been on for a much longer time than it usually is (around 14 hours) when the line disappeared. Has anyone else noticed something similar?
