I am trying to help out a friend you has one of these TV's and he lives quite a way from me so I have looked through the manual of this TV to try and find a solution.
I know this TV does not have a Headphone 3.5mm Jack socket but does have an Optical output that can be used for a Sound Bar.
My friends hearing is not so good so I was going to use a Optical to Analogue convertor for the headphones.
So, two Questions..
1 ) Does the OP to Analogue provide enough output to drive the headphones?
2 ) Can you have Normal TV speaker sound and optical output at the same time?
Any guidance will be appreciated
Thanks

Thanks for your reply. Maybe if there is someone with this exact model they could check to see if the TV speaker and Optical sound can be enabled at the same time.
Thanks for your reply......

Hi, the reply from Samsung about the TV Optical Output was eventually was ...."Thanks for the detailed response, John! You'd be unable to use both optical and TV speakers at the same time when connected to the TV" =======
