Samsung tv doesn't recognise Sky+ box

Can anyone please help, I've just connected my new 75" Samsung tv to my Sky + box, HDMI out and into HDMI 1 in,  the Sky box is not recognised and I get "Check connections" message, the connections are correct and I've tried another cable?

When on the screen where it says test channel up and channel down the black box on the right should show a picture but it's just black?

Mine is the same. Did you find a solution.

i am having the same problem doe anyone know why? have you spoke to anyone at samsung?x

A faulty lead from the box to the tv, was the problem a common fault, even with a new lead.
