Samsung Smart Tv

I have a Samsung smart LED tv model EU55JS8000TXXU (4years old) and from last year 2 bars, one on the left and right of the screen (from top to bottom) have appeared down either side of the television and have made it impossible to watch during the day. 

The top half of the screen is only a shadow and cannot be viewed.  It looks like the LED's lights have started to wear out and in turn, the whole screen heats up so much that the frame cannot be touched and I am afraid to use it any more, has anyone else experienced this sort of problem?

mine started with a grey shadow all down one side 3 years old hardly used i have an older one all mine are samsung never had a problem seems there is a lot with same problem gutted because says uk based for customer service they werent. knowledge was bad and very rude looks like a new tv after 3 years i wont be buying a samsung
