Samsung Smart TV UE32H4500 restarting, flickering and changing colors?

Hi samsung community,

When I turn on the TV it starts and restarts four, five times and works normaly about 3 minutes and then starts to , flickering and changing colors. Samsung Smart TV UE32H4500

Is it possible to fix this?

Which TV part is causing this?

Hi TracyR, thanks for replying and helping me.

 

I just found out that when I go to "menu picture picture off" and call the picture back it stops to flicker and changing colors for about a minute or more, its random.

Is it maybe a software problem? Or is some smd part or a capacitor, resistor faulty and getting too hot?

The TV is out of warranty and in my country (Bosnia) new parts and repair is really expensive,  so I would like to atleast try to fix the problem myself if i can.

That's quite strange that it does that, but if it happened during the picture test it usually highlights that it's a problem with the hardware, rather than the software.

 

I'd also strongly advise against repairing the TV yourself, try getting in touch with your local Samsung Support first.
