Samsung Smart led tv has a purple patch

I have a smart led tv Model No is UE48H6400, we have noticed this morning that there is a purple patch on the bottom right hand side. The tv is out of warranty, but I wondered if anyone else had the same problem and if they fixed it? We have run the tests and it shows up in all 3. Thanks

I have the same problem on my curved 4k tv. This is a joke. 3 years, now out of warranty. Ill never buy Samsung again.

You should buy whatever makes sense to buy.  This time around make sure that you get a five year warrantee, at least.  I did have the same problem with Samsung but I also have had a Vizio TV die 4 years after purchase.  Not fun, but extended warranties for these items are a necessity, I am afraid.
