Samsung QLED 75inch TV remote turning off Virgin Box

Hi, 

just bought a fantastic tv and every time we turn it on using the universal remote it turns the virgin V6 box into standby. This only happens when turning it on for the first time that day. If I turn it off and then back on all is normal and the virgin box stay on. Can't find any other fixes on the internet. Hope someone on here can help?

Still waiting for a response. Bugs me every morning when I've got to turn the bloody virgin back on cause turning the tv on turns the virgin box off!!!! 😂😂😂

When I use the virgin remote to turn the tv on it doesn't do this at all, really weird
