I have a Samsung QE65Q60RATXXH smart TV that I bought 12 / 2019. It has worked perfectly so far.
Yesterday I bought Nintendo Switch and connected it as adviced.
- The HDMI -cable that came with the Switch is connected to the HDMI In 4 (arc).
- Samsung TV and Switch operation systems are updated
(Samsung TV didn't have any new system updates since 2019?)
The problem:
Once the Switch is turned on and in game mode the screen goes to black for a few seconds and shows a message 'Game mode OFF' then goes back to 'Game mode ON'. This cycle keeps on repeating randomly after few minutes.
I have tried different HDMI cables, HDMI ports, different Game mode settings (Auto, On, OFF). Nothing seems to help.
I found similar issue threads for PS4 and PS5. At least in some cases they couldn't solve the problem.
The problem is very annoying and makes the TV useless with Nintendo Switch if it is not fixed.
Please help.
