Samsung Qe50q80 issues with sports

Hi there, I have an issue with my brand new Samsung QE50Q80BATXXU Tv. When I watch sports, the ball at times flickers across the screen rather than being smooth. Is there a setting to fix this? My previous saying tv which was an older model never had this issue.

@Tellis10: Can you try heading to Home > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Expert Settings > Picture Clarity Settings, and exploring your options from here to see if you notice an improvement? If not, can you confirm if you have access to Sky Sports HD and, if so, does the issue persists on that channel?

Hi Andrew, I tried playing around with these settings and can make it better but it still does it. It judders on both HD and normal versions of the channels unfortunately

Just to add that would say generally for sport best to have  brightness contrast  and sharpness a bit higher than defaults (though not maximum settings), however depends on preference and can be a bit of trial and error.  I think Standard Mode  usually works well ,this Tv may also well have the specialised Sports viewing Mode  https://www.lifewire.com/best-picture-settings-for-samsung-4k-tv-4776573 Looks like adjusting the Auto Motion settings did not make enough of a difference.

Hi, I have just purchased this tv as the review for watching sports was great. However, when watching football on the HD channels or any channel the ball, players and anything moving fast seems to flicker and teleport. I have tried changing the settings per the above and can’t get it any better at all. Makes it really difficult to watch and is very annoying. 

is there a fix or is this tv just terrible and the reviews false??

Hi guys any help here on the settings for watching sports on the Q80B. Currently one of the worst tvs I have ever watched sports on. Please help.
