I'm pretty sure the answer is no, but hope dies last. I have a Samsung QE65Q8FGMT television, with the well-known issues of black and dark scenes. According to others, most of the black problems of Q8 was repaired by the firmware update of 1310. Unfortunately, that firmware update is not available for all Q8 models, for example for my TV the latest update is still 1290.
Is there any way or method to update my TV to 1310 to get rid of this awful black and dark performance? Pretty sure there is none but hopefully someone has found a way around it.
