I need to replace my Samsung One Remote Control for my UE49KS7005 and find a store that has the original One Remote Control that came with the TV. The exact same store also has newer versions of the One Remote, and my question is if I can buy one of these newer One Remote Control and use it with my TV? My intuition says yes, but I want to make sure so I don't buy a remote I can't use. I do want the newer one because it looks more robus.
Generalized question: are One Remote Controls backward compatible with earlier TVs that ALSO came with an earlier version of the One Remote Control?
