Samsung HL-S6187W, it turns off then tries to turn back on

When turning on my 10 year old Samsung HL-S6187W, it turns off then tries to turn back on. The green lights flicker on/off but usually doesn’t turn on right away. Takes me from 3 to 7 attempts to get it to turn on & stay on. PLEASE HELP.
