Samsung Frame TV

Hi there. My Samsung TV is just over a year old is completely un responsive. It turns off and on but not on to apps or channels, it is connected to the internet but showing as being offline on Smart cast and SmartThings.

It started a couple of months ago and it kept jumping off of apps and going onto Tv programmes I’ve never heard of before and only showing TV plus now it just isn’t doing anything at all! 

tried the usual off and on again, tried to reset but isn’t even letting me go on to settings or anything like that, it won’t even let me change the source, even when using the buttons on the actual TV

can anyone help?

Have you tried resetting the TV ?

Thanks for getting in touch, I cannot open settings to do so with the remote.  Is there a way to do it with the buttons on the TV?

You need to enter service mode on your TV. Do you have a "not so smart" remote like this , i presume...

1st , you need to turn off TV.
Then , in a quick sequence press " info + settings + mute + power " .
This should get you in service menu .
Then , select "option " and "factory reset "

We tried but it switched off and now won’t come back on, when you switch the tv back on it comes up with “the frame” very briefly and then just stays a blank black screen

 Ok, now managed to get it turned on and is now doing this ...
