Hi All,

Looking for any advice. on my Samsung Frame (2022) remote. Was working fine earlier today then suddenly stopped working altogether. no warning that battery was low etc, nothing.

Tried the following so far

1. Rest tv. unplugged for over 2 minutes, then restarted = no change

2. Tried charging remote via USB = light blinks rapidly but doesnt seem to work (over 1hr so far)

3. Tried connecting TV to smart things = cant find TV (on same wifi network etc)

TV seems to be working fine as we have a firestick plugged in which if we leave it for a few minutes switched to that so we can still watch something. We alos tried unplugging this and reseting TV = no change.

So at the moment Ive got a TV I cant control or use after only 10 months old.

Any ideas over and above what Ive tried already?

Thank you

Update
Remote still does not work after a full night's charging on USB, so guess that's dead.

Tried using a remote app on my phone, it finds the TV but I need to give permission to connect it - which I need the remote to do.

Is my TV now dead? Is there anyway to give permission without the remote?

I have the same exact problem. Was working one minute, no more the minute after. Been in charge for hours and still nothing. All guides point to resetting it, but it simply seem to not just wanting to activate in any ways.

Did you find a solution, eventually?

Hi,
Yes luckily. After angrily shouting at the TV I remembered that it came with a second remote (the one with all the buttons) so I used that to accept the app so that I could control th TV easily.

We then found a pretty much like for like replacement for the slimmed down remote on amazon. Its black rather than white, works via IR rather than Bluetooth and doesn't have a solar panel but same buttons same function.

Still bit pissed off but can control my TV.
