Samsung F8005 freezes and restarts when changing channels

Hi, I’m experiencing some problems with my tv. A week ago or such, it suddenly started freezing and turning off and on when changing channels. When it turns on again, it has change to the new channel, so that’s nice. But kinda annoying it takes 40 sec. to change channel. 

 

I’ve tried resetting it, and disconnecting all cables, still no prevail.

 

When I try to enter favorite channels in the menu, it also crashes, and restart.

 

Really hope someone can help,

Could we take the full model code and software version of the TV please? Go to Menu > Support > Contact Samsung.

It seems like your software's up to date. Let's try resetting the TV. Go to Menu > Support > Self Diagnosis > Reset. You'll be prompted to enter a 4 digit PIN code, which is usually set to 0000, if it's not been changed. Note, you will lose any adjustments to the settings you might have made, as these will be reset to the defaults.

I’ve already tried that, which has resulted in when I try to edit my favorites it crashes. So now I’m stuck with all channels on my cable, which is also quite annoying.  I’ve also tried disconnecting everything except the tv cable.

This sounds like one of our Audio-Visual specialists need to have a look @Jonashh. If you have an internet connection on your TV, they'll be able to make a connection and remotely take over, to see if they can get to the bottom of the issue.

 

You can contact them directly on 0330 726 7864 and then choose the Audio-Visual option, which will take you through to one of the team.

Finally  got the time to look into this, and called the support. Unfortunately they couldn’t help, as it seems to be a hardware problem. So instead of using a lot on repair I’ve rented a set top box through my tv provider. This buys me some time considering the next tv.

Happened the same to me, but this is a UN55MU6100 ...
Did they get the chance to determine what part was failing? Is that the main board failing? or something else? Thanks.-
