I just bought a 43-inch Samsung RU7102 about a month ago and about 2-3 days ago I noticed a blinking vertical rectangle all the way from the top down and about 7-8cm thick on the left side about 10cm from the edge of the screen. The spot is not always there. It blinks intermitently as if the TV turns itself on and off in that particular place and it gets worse as the TV is on. I've tried to reset the TV to factory settings, I've switched the signal from cable to HBO GO, Youtube, etc., I disabled energy saving features, updated firmware, disconnected and reconnected to the WiFi network from a modem in the same room about 2-3 meters away, even plugged it off from the power outlet for about 5 minutes. I've also done a picture diagnostic test and the problem still persists.
These led me to believe the issue is with the TV. I have warranty as it is brand new and I am going to service it but I am just curious as to what is it? Except that particular aforementioned section of the screen everything works perfect--apparently, at least.
