I own a RU7470, since upgrading my PC I like to enjoy 4K HDR but the HDR is extremely washed out and dull when playing games. Have I been ripped off buying this 'HDR' TV? I've read it only has a peak 300 nit brightness which isn't enough for HDR content and it's better to just keep it turned off? It looks great on the YouTube App on the TV, but in Chrome theirs a slight difference.
In Shadow Warrior 2 it's extremely noticable that the colours just suck with HDR on. No matter what I change the setting to. On the desktop and every game I've tried it looks a lot more dim too. Forza 4, Destiny 2, Crackdown 3, Shadow Warrior 2 and Call of Duty Modern Warfare.
