How old is your TV remote? Has it been knocked? Damaged? Tried different batteries etc?

Best bet Jay is to:
Order a new remote off eBay/Amazon/Gumtree/Shpock/Facebook (Marketplace or from a Group)
OR
If it's possible to get a new remote covered in your warranty for free, then go with that :D.
