Remote control volume button controlling Receiver option?

When I try and control the TV volume from the Samsung remote it is prompting wwith “Receiver. (HDMI)” rather than Volume. I’ve power cycled the tv and have removed the batteries from the remote and put them back in and the issue continues. I do have an HDMI ARC sound bar connected and that works from the remote control for it.

I had a similar kind of an issue where Samsung remote stopped working as designed. It was not allowing to increase or decrease the volume but was showing a box saying, Optional. I understood, its a small setting which we needed to change and it started working again. I went to setting, set the sound mode to standard and it worked again.
