Recording To USB - QE43Q60RATXXU

I've been successfully recording to an external USB HDD however I've noticed that recordings fail if the TV is outputing from another USB port such as a laptop or a Firestick. 

Is this correct? Is this apparent serial USB connection a limitation of the TV?

hello

according to manual, we may record to a USB device only

USB HDD is a storage device as recognised by TV

while Firestick and laptop as media inputs

Thanks for you reply however I may have not been clear. I'm not trying to record to the Firestick or a laptop only the USB HDD however when for example I am watching something on the Firestick any recordings scheduled during this time will fail.

It's like the TV can only manage 1 USB connection at a time.

Is this correct?
