Recording to External HDD

Hello

I've just purchased the 2020 32" Frame TV. I've an external HDD (500GB - Toshiba - connected by USB) that I want to use as the recording device. It is formatted as FAT.

When I connect it to the USB1 (HDD marked) on the OneConnect Box it is recognised and I can browse the contents. However, the recording option is not enabled in the Guide and the Device Connection Manager keeps prompting me to connect a USB HDD (which I already have).  

Anyone have any idea what I can do to resolve this problem?

The TV doesn't support recording

Thanks. Can I ask where you obtained that information from? This isn't what is suggested by the Device Connection Manager.

Ther us no mention in the user manual. Few TVs do this as an additional tuner is required
