"Network Cable Connected" Notification.

I have a QE55Q90RATXXU. 

Quite often (once or twice a night) we get a Notification, in the top right hand corner of the screen.

It says, "Network Settings, Network Cable Connected". It then gives the option to "OK".

 

The TV (one connect box) is connected by a good quality Ethernet cable to a network Switch, which is then connected to my Sky router, with a speed of about 37mbps.

 

Watching films on Sky Cinema, Netflix and Rakuten, are rock solid with no dropouts.

 

Why am I getting this notification? Please see photo attached.

I haven’t seen any Samsung admins pop in. Might just be a figure it out yourself site. Sure will think twice about buying Samsung the next time, that’s for certain!

Samsung's service replaced the One Connect cable and the notification stopped appearing.

I’ve had Samsung on the telephone who remotely reset the tv and it’s still getting the message
