Qn95a tv

I today recieved my QN95a 55" tv. 

It really is a beatuiful tv and offers some fabulous upgrades from my 2015 sony tv. 

I loaded up all my apps and have noticed, there is no cast function on any of my apps anymore(disney, prime, nowtv), on my sony i could cast by pressing the little TV symbol at the top of the app im using.

Is this normal on samsung TVs and is there anyway to get the option back?

I have the same tv since launch, not sure what you mean, cssting to or from your TV? and to what?

If you mean your mobile to tv then use the Smart View function, looks like a play icon with a circle arrow around it.

Smart view mirrors your screen.

I want to cast from my phone to the tv, usually a button you can press on the app, looks like a tv

Found it on YouTube, the cast to option has gone from nowtv, prime video and disney plus.

Are those apps available on the TV itself though?

Yep, all streaming apps are, it's a 2021 tv

That's why they are greyed out for casting on your phone then possibly. It depends what deal they have with Samsung

Can anyone with a qn95a tv see if they have the cast option at the top of a streaming app they use.

It would be really dumb, the user experience is easier on a phone to control what your watching
