Got QE65Q950TSUXRU & UE65TU8500UXRU, both with 2303 firmware

Both connected over LAN ports.

Playing video from my miniDLNA server makes the connection drops and go from DLNA mode to TV mode. The bigger file size (or its video resolution, don`t know) the faster translation will be stopped.

SOLUTION: i managed to change bridged port settings (in which the TV connected) on my mikrotik switch to:

  1. Unknown Unicast Flood off
  2. Unknown Multicast Flood off
  3. Broadcast Flood off

And it solved the problem!

=====================================

Strange thing #2: Manually setting port speed to 100mb makes TV unavailable to discover the network.

I think this is more of a limitation on your network or networks hardware than the TV. Fault find on your network.

Tested on different switches. ASUS RT-AX89X and ubiquity 8port PoE switch shows the same result. Microtik CRS328 with default settings also makes the connection drop.

Only changing listed options solves the problem. Of course the problem could be in minidlna-1.3.1 package. Do not really know.
