According to the adverts you should be able to "Enjoy all your favourite content in glorious 8K resolution, even if it’s not filmed that way"
So according to Samsung, the likes of Netflix, Prime, Samsung Plus, Sky, DVDS, Blu Rays etc should be showing in 'glorious' 8k but they are NOT being upscaled to 8k or anywhere near it.
I know the reasons why having read similar posts so how can Samsung claim that content not filmed in 8k will still be displayed in 8k?
This has got to be false advertising surely?

Hi @Flotmangooner ,
I am sorry to hear about your disappointment. I can see that the TV page (found here: https://www.samsung.com/uk/tvs/qled-tv/qn800a-85-inch-neo-qled-8k-smart-tv-qe85qn800atxxu/?cid=uk_pa...) stated that "Our mighty AI-powered processor automatically fine-tunes brightness, sharpens contrast, enhances the resolution of everything you watch – and turns it all into an 8K cinematic experience."
Would you be able to tell us if you are watching these apps directly from the TV or any external devices? Are you able to share some examples of these here so we can investigate this?

That is @Flotmangooner , I just want to see how that looks. Once I, or any other moderator, have reviewed these we will be able to provide you with the next steps.

Hi @Flotmangooner ,
apologies for the late response. I am not always in so sometimes it may take a bit longer for me to respond to this. I have now passed this on to our Audiovisual Specialist so they can respond to this accordingly. As soon as I receive an answer I will let you know.
