Cannot find anyway to get this PoS into 8k resolution.

Also you could try this method :
Info + Settings + Mute + Power on your thick remote ( TV needs to be OFF ) to get into service menu. Do not change anything else BUT the one option i will guide you to. When you finish, restart TV

they say that game mode needs to be on for the 8k to run, but it keeps switching it off, i only have a small silver remote
