i have read a number of older threads on this but they suggest that the Samsung apps on the Q95T should play Atmos content where applicable. I have Atmos via the onboard Netflix app and via Sky Q, but the Amazon Prime app doesnt output via Atmos. Is the Samsung app able to or do i need a Fire Stick ?
Setup is Q95T to Q950T - Passthrough, soundbar only and std sound.
Same thing in my scenario via Q80T and HW-Q800T Soundbar, and I can't find any official statement from Amazon. I've just seen in some reddit topic that Amazon cut the quailty of it's content due to pandemic. Is it the case? I don't know.
Hi. Samsung says its an Amazon as their TV's have no Samsung intelligence so any issues are down to the provider and not Samsung firmware. Amazon say my TV should play Atmos as it does for Netflix etc..
