Q90R eArc update, Samsung UK claims new firmware update has it

Can anyone that has installed firmware version 1374 on their Q90R confirm that our TVs finally received the eArc update like Samsung UK twitter claims yesterday.

I cant find no firmware update 1374 on samsung site or when I do check for update on TV. Have they removed it??

Haha, they meant Q90R SOUNDBAR which indeed was updated to support earc

Go under support then audio/tv then search for your tv then choose download then OS in the left panel

I just updated my tv through the website since I didn't seem the be able OTA.

Anyway, don't know if it enabled eARC but something did change for sure.

Now when I play on my PS5 using the PCM setting i finally get full surround sound without any lag at all. This is with the 1374 firmware from 29 dec.

Previously it downscaled to 2.1 audio.

There are no mentions of eARC in the settings

I can confirm this, I get LPCM 5.1 in my soundbar from PS5. There are no changes anywhere in the menu that will show this, most probably they are doing tests until the final build.

1374 firmware just ruined the picture quality hope fix is on it's way, picture looks more zoomed in on some channels and hd looks bad, come on Samsung update should make things better not worse!

I didn't have any such problems. But all the settings got reset after the update, maybe that's what happened for you?

It hasn't fixed surround for my Nintendo Switch. If I connect it directly to the soundbar it works as expected but connecting via the TV does not. I have it connected via my TV as then it auto detects my Switch and sets game mode automatically, but I can't use surround sound this way. I'm getting quite bored of this not working.
