I can't seem to google my way to an answer, so I'm hoping some of you know the answer.

I have a Q80T tv which supports dolby atmos passthrough on eARC, which means Dolby Atmos from player connected to the tv, could be passed through to a Dolby Atmos surround receiver. But what about the apps installed on the tv?

I stream all my content from multiple providers directly on the tv, so I would love to know if it supports passing through Atmos to a receiver from e.g. Netflix, or this would require a seperate player?

Netflix does not support any surround sound. Surround sound is done on a device such as pc, blueray player, pc the codec is that coverts to dolby atmos is done on the audio part of the device.

So there's no possibility of getting surround sound of any kind, when I use the tv as streaming device?

Nope. You need to connect the TV directly to a surround sound system. Via Tosh link or aux.
