I have a Q80 65 inch TV with one connect box which has an HDMI ARC port that has my Sonos gen 1 Beam plugged in.
I upgraded to a Sonos Beam Gen 2, which I understand now uses HDMI EARC. I've had trouble with connectivity of the new Beam. Can anyone tell me if HDMI ARC will accept HDMI EARC. As seem sometimes the TV is not picking up the Beam.
I'm in the process of sending back the gen 2 Beam for a replacement one, but if the one connect box won't accept HMI EARC seems no point keeping the replacement.
