Q70R sudden brightness drops when watching HDR content

Whenever I'm watching an HDR movie, either through the Plex app or a USB drive, the brightness suddenly drops quite a bit multiple times during the movie. I think it may be related to this issue:

The TV is in movie mode, I've got local dimming on high, contrast enhancer off, auto motion plus off, and turned off all ECO options.

It's very noticeable and really annoying. I've had the issue ever since I bought the TV last January. Is anyone else experiencing the same thing, and can it be fixed somehow?

Yeah, its so annoying.

This is fixable by altering the PWM settings in the service menu. Google it.

Can you be more specific? I looked it up and it relates to global dimming. I don't believe that's my issue, because the brightness drops happen at random moments in both bright and dark scenes.

hi , I have a Q90R I have the same issue ! when watching some HDR content through Plex the brightness suddenly drop at random, multiple time during the movie. This is really frustrating!! is there any fix for this issue ?
