Q700T does it play YouTube 8K videos?

I thought it did. Just tested. Only goes up to 4k. Weird.

Oh dear. Do you know if it plays any 8k content? I have read it even struggles to play 8k from USB. Is that true?

It plays my PC @ 8k, although has some issues getting it working from the start. Once it's set up correctly it's fine.
