Q60, 75 TV app sound not switching to Denon Avr

As the title says, the sound from the TV apps is not switching when the Denon AVR is connected. I have factory reset both the TV and Denon receiver but tono avail. 
I have made sure that all settings in both devices are correct and the TV detects the AVR as a source. I have bought a new high-speed HDMI cable. My sky connection works perfectly well. I am out of ideas. 
Both devices have the latest firmware.
Any constructive advice would be very welcome. Thanks.

The only constructive support I can offer is that you contact Samsung support via live chat and make sure they have a record of the problem. Also, you can try turning eARC off and setting output audio format to PCM to see if that works.
