Power is back on, but TV does not work

My power went out a couple days ago because of a storm and the power just came back on. I plugged in my TV, but the red light did not come on. I held the power button for two minutes like I read in other posts, but nothing happened. I pressed it and released it right away. Nothing happened. It’s been unplugged while the power was out. Is there anything else I can try to get it to work?

I have a 5 series Samsung Smart TV.

quite often with power outages, it can cause a power surge. power surges are tge enemy of electrical items.
You can try a new power supply id it has a transformer (wall wart or inline power brick), otherwise I'm sorry to say its a claim on your insurance and with your next purchase also buy a surge protector
