Possible fault on brand new tv

Hi

I was hoping someone would be able to give me some advice on this. I bought a brand new Samsung u585au8000kxxu tv a few weeks back and I get these strange whiteish blurs near the edges, creates almost a slight halo affect and it just dose t seem right. It’s only really noticeable when things are darker like when watching horror films and I wanted to see if I was just going mad or expecting too much from the tv?

Hi double check first because mine had some white marks on the display but that was due to the movie black screen had some white marks, try some different black screens & see if the same mark's are there, if they change positions that could be down to the movie or program you are watching or maybe it was damaged during transit, its definitely not supposed to have those blurs on the screen, I have a samsung 8 series 55 inch TV, without the issue your experiencing.
Contact samsung customer service & request a replacement.
