Pin reset on TV

Good evening, I have a Samsung TV UE40F6670SB and forgot the pin, tried various ways found on the web to reset to default but nothing has worked 😞 any help appreciated, Thank you

Hi @Trevor V  Have you tried the following, different instructions for Smart Remote and standard ones.

For Smart Remote:

Turn on the TV, then press the Volume button.

Press the + button to increase the volume, then press the Return button.

Press the – button to decrease the volume, then press the Return button.

Press the + button again, then the Return button, and the PIN should be reset to 0000.

With a Standard Remote

Turn on the TV,  press the Mute button.

Press the + button,  followed by  the Return button.

Press the - button,followed by the Return button.

Press the + button again, then press the Return button, and  PIN should be reset to 0000.
