Pin code digits not showing

I have an UE43AU8000KXXU, when i need to enter my 4 digit pin, i see no digits appear on screen through which to use my smart remote to enter the digits. I can use my basic remote to then enter the digits via the remote keypad, but i tend to use my smart remote as the primary method of control. Anyone know how i get the on screen entry back?

Used to get this a lot when I was store based. Usally repairing the remote is step one and closing and reopening the menu step 2

The remote works fine, im thinking its software or a setting
