Picture Off command not working

Hello all!! 

So a few days back my tv performed a big update and after that,  the Picture Off command just doesnt work.

 I use it a lot when I go to sleep to leave some music running in the background, but now when I ask the tv to turn off the picture, it goes to a dark screen but the sound halts. The tv is not off, it just stays there.

The version that displays the tv is this one:

T-PTMCUABC-0080-2011.0, E2371410, BT - S

This is a QN85C screen.

Any help will be highly appreciated.

@UnchartedCR: Please try heading to Home > Menu > Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Accessibility > Picture Off, and make sure that this option is toggled on. If it is, toggle it off, then back on again. 

Alternatively, press and hold the Volume +/- button for 2 seconds or more to open the Accessibility shortcut menu, and toggle the feature off/on from here. 

If the issue persists, please try powering off the TV > Unplug it at the wall for around 30 seconds > Plug it back in, then power back on using the remote. This will refresh the TV's software, and resolve any temporary issues which might be a contributing factor.

I tried those steps but it hasn’t worked on my QN90c. 

Is this a software issue? Because it was working before the latest update. Please fix this.

It seems firmware bug, just tried on my QN90C with exactly same firmware version just installed and no audio when picture off enabled.

Tried resetting my tv, didn't work.

Please fix this soon.

Actually I tried those steps before coming here to post.

After further reviewing the issue, I found out that in my case it happens with the Youtube App (this is what set up at night and what I use the most). Haven't tried with other apps but seems to work well with cable an iptv app too, but no luck with Youtube even after re-installing the app.

Maybe we'll have to expect a new version of the app, that is if they are aware of this problem.

I think you're right! The PS5 YouTube app works fine, it’s just the samsung YouTube app that’s the problem.

Hope they fix it.

Same thing happens to my new Samsung TV (65” UHD Crystal) yesterday. I have noticed Picture Off works for regular TV programs; but when I play music from Youtube it stops music sound along with picture off, while TV itself stays on still.  I have 4~5 years old another Samsung TV that works fine of Picture Off with all Youtube musics, but just this new Samsung TV.   I think new Samsung TV’s software has bug. It needs bug fix.

My new TV SAYS MY CURRENT VERSION IS 1203; but New Version is 1203.  Therefore, I have the latest software that has this problem.

I hope Samsung fixes it asap!
