I have a quick question concerning my 55" 6 Series (4K TV) and it's to do with the sound that it outputs.
Currently I have the TV set to output the sound via the optical cable to my Bose 321 (GSX Series II) System as I never use the TV speakers, which is all good.
However, I have noticed when the sound is set to PCM the sound is mirrored? When doing a stereo sound test via Youtube, Left is Right / Right is Left etc.. But, when the sound option is switched to either Dolby or DTS Neo 2.5 (DTS is greyed out for some reason) it reverts back to the correct channels and the sound is as it should be.
Could it be that Samsung's PCM output doesn't agree with the Bose system for some reason? Or is it something I'm missing here? I have changed the optical cable twice thinking its that but still no joy.. Ideally I would prefer PCM as I don't really see the point of putting 5.1 into a 2 speaker system, but the mirrored sound is a nightmare, especially for gaming.
Any help would be superb.
