Just bought a Samsung QE55QN95A. This has the One Connect Box. Watched a couple of videos before install and on videos, it shows when plugging into the back of the TV it is secured in place with a screw. However, I didn't get any screw with my TV. I plugged it in and it's on the wall. I do however have an issue that when watching sky( watch sky all the time) screen goes off for a second or so and comes back on. Does this three or four times each evening. I have unplugged and plugged in the HDMI leads a few times, no different. I am starting to think it's the one connect connection on the back of the TV, especially if it should have a screw to hold it in place and it's not fitted properly.
Can anyone with this TV confirm that a screw to secure the one connect box should be with the TV
Dave

I have a similar issue but it's way worse. I bought the QE55QN95A in November and have not been able to watch Sky on it at all. The TV recognises the Sky box and adds it as a source, however the image never stabilises so it just shows a constantly flickering screen. Like what you describe happening a few times per evening, but non-stop. Occassionally if I unplug both the TV and the Sky box, when it turns back on it will display a stable image for several seconds, but then it tries to do the HDCP handshake, tells me the screen doesn't support HDCP and then starts flickering again. So I've not been able to watch Sky AT ALL on the new TV since I got it over 3 months ago. On top of this, I can't get a 4K FireTV stick to work either. It is also recognised by the TV and added as a source, but when you power it up, it will flash up the FireTV logo and then just go black and display nothing else. I've tried older FireTV sticks that aren't 4K and they work fine, so this is an issue connecting 2 different 4K inputs to my new 4K TV, yet Samsung refuse to accept there's an issue with my TV and keep telling me to wait for the next software updates on the TV, Sky Box AND FireTV stick! I'm at a loss for what to do. I guess what I'm trying to say is, I don't think it has anything to do with a missing screw. There's a known issue and Samsung can't be bothered to do anything about it.

Hi Dave,
I just got a brand new TV yesterday and that retaining clip was not included with mine either. I am getting very frustrated. Samsung is no help at all. I have been on the phone with 5 different people and they say you cant buy that part and that there is no name or part number for it. Spend close to 5K on a TV and they wont send this little part. I cant find it online anywhere!

Hi Dan
as you know I had this issue. Well Samsung told me that it doesn’t come with the clip after all, despite seeing one on a set up video. To be honest it has been fine and stays in okay. I also sorted the flicker issue when on UHD on Sky Q. More by luck than anything else. There was a Samsung TV update. Since then all works fine

Wow ok that’s good news. I wish the first person I spoke with would have told me that. Honestly the tv works fine without it but I was just a little annoyed that it wasn’t there. I paid for it so I wanted it. If I have any issues I can always just put a piece of tape on there. Thanks for letting me know!
